Monthly Club Meetings

The Tennessee Valley Woodworkers meet monthly on the 3rd Tuesday. Meeting time is 6:30 at the University of Tennessee Institute in room H111 At the far right of the main building.) The usual agenda is a short business meeting followed by Show & Tell. We end with a program of interest to woodworkers of all levels and fields of interest 

Splinters Carving Group

The Splinters Carvers meet at Jim Jolliffe’s shop on the first and third Saturday’s of the month from 8:30 am to 10:30 am.  The shop is located at 201 Jolliffe Acres Ln, Tullahoma.  View map   Tools and wood are available at the meetings.

March 18 — Food Truck Frenzy at Tims Ford State Park 11 am to 2 pm — details Come out and enjoy!  Enjoy the food truck competition.

April 22  — Sharpening Demo at Day Richard Gulley Shop.  8:30 to 12:00 

June 24 – Arts Alive Tullahoma will be held at the Frazier-McKewn Park on June 24th. This is a Juried Art Show and Food Trucks 

July 22 –Turning Bee at Isha Institute 951 Isha Lane, McMinnville TN. 37311.  8 AM until we’re finished.   Registration is important so that enough bowl blanks can be prepared.  Register by contacting Larry Wendland at Ph. October 21 — Craft Fair/Tool sale — St. Barnabas Church Tullahoma

October 21-22 — Woodcarver Rich Wetherbee will lead a Caricature Carving seminar at Jim Jolliffe’s shop October 21st  and 22nd from 8:30 – 4:30 each day.  Cost is $170 plus roughouts ($30-$40 each).  Lunch will be provided both days. Please let Jim know if you want to sign up.

November 11 – Carving Demo by Vladimir Davydov
